This course enables you to quickly master hand-building, decorative techniques, and glazing, while exploring both Japanese and the distinctive creative styles of Chisato.

Day 1 to 3

• Japanese techniques for tableware

Japanese pinch technique 

Japanese pinch technique with texture

TOJIAWASE (Japanese technique with some cuts)

KURINOKI (Moulding)

HAMON (Texture)

HASUNOHAZARA (dish with lotus leaf form) 

HARIAWASE (slab Technique) etc.

• Polishing and drying of the pieces

• Bisque firing of the pieces 

• Glaze of the pieces with enamels made by the teacher

• Glaze firing.

Day 4 

• Raku with matt glazes and some experiments.

Day 5

• Mini Workshop of Japanese home made cuisine
